Empower Her (Initiative)

EmpowerHer Jaipur is a student-led initiative I co-founded to create safe, dignified spaces for girls and young women to express themselves and grow with confidence. From clothing drives that prioritize choice and self-respect, to interactive workshops and story-sharing circles in local NGOs, our focus is on empowerment that feels real, approachable, and lasting. By blending creativity with community engagement—whether through art sessions like canvas painting or dialogue activities—we strive to break barriers, amplify voices, and make impact at the ground level, one girl at a time.

What I do:
  • Co-lead operations, session design, and partnerships with local NGOs.
  • Run activities like story-sharing circles and creative workshops (e.g., canvas painting at Rays Girls NGO) that make participation welcoming and stigma-free.
  • Plan clothing drives and curated racks that prioritize choice and dignity.
  • Build a clear brand voice and outreach plan to grow volunteering and impact.

Impact so far:
  • Conducted interactive sessions with girls aged 8–19; developed simple, approachable conversation prompts in Hindi/English.
  • Piloted hands-on art sessions that doubled as safe spaces for sharing and peer support.
  • Established a no-photos policy with partner NGOs to protect privacy and trust while documenting impact ethically.

What’s next:
Scale monthly workshops, add mentorship pairings, and formalize a volunteer handbook.
